New York’s Governor has asked for a 4% State sales tax on ski lift tickets & lessons, as well as other recreational activities. Local government can then add another 4% to the tax, for a total sales tax of 8%. Use their site to “Contact NYS Officials” (on the right side of the page). Tell them to STOP THE SKI TAX now – Keep skiing and riding affordable. |
